ABOUT ME

My name is Bisse and I´m married to Per. We have two childen, a girl, 20 years old, who is studying at a university and not permanently living at home, and a son of 18 years, who has recently finished school. Both of us are language teachers. I am Danish/Swedish and my husband is Swedish/Norwegian, so you could say we are real Scandinavians. We live in a house 600 meters from one of the finest beaches in Sweden. Our house is small but we have a large garden. We love animals and have a middle-aged cat, Shabanouh, and a young male, Signor Gustavo Rossi. We are very fond of good food and wine and the husband does almost all of the cooking. The wife bakes and prepares the desserts if the daughter isn't at home, otherwise she does.
We are a bit fanatic about our Citroën cars. We have had several and are now driving a Pluriel and an XM.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First of all we want to get to know other people so they can come and visit us and then we can visit them or vice versa. By that we would like to contribute to the understanding between people in different countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our daughter showed us the site and we were impressed by all the interesting people we found there. But as we are middle-aged people we thought it was a big shame that almost all of the participants were younger people and that's something we would like to change. We may be old but we are young at heart. And we still find it interesting to meet new acquaintances of all ages and learn more about life.
