About Me
I believe humans were meant to live as travellers and wanderers. Not stay cooped up in one corner of the world. If our ancestors never crawled out of the primordial soup and left their comfort zone, we wouldn't be the rulers of the planet we are today.
I see myself as a global citizen, and while i am not very well travelled, I find that i can easily appreciate other cultures, climates and ways of life. I am always eager to travel to new places, I walk and talk off the beaten path; maybe that's why some of my mates think I am a little strange :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Though I'm new to this concept of couchsurfing, I hope to be able to make new friends from different parts of the world to experience their way of life, their thinking and share some good times. I believe life is to be enjoyed, not endured. As of now, I've had to hold off hosting as I am in the middle of moving house. Though I would be more than happy to bring any traveller around this tiny island and chill with them when i'm free.
Interests
Recently started learning to play drums and the guitar, I hope to be able to write my own riffs and lyrics soon. I occasionally do video editing and animation, but i have to be well motivated. haha. I spent literally a third of the waking hours of my life playing video games; and titles like Far Cry 4 and Skyrim helped to draw me into the breathtaking landscapes that other parts of the world have to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to movies, i am predictably mainstream: star wars, lord of the rings, etc. Love tv shows like Game of thrones and Narcos.
With regards to music, I am mostly a metalhead \m/ but I have more recently been able to appreciate all forms of music, namely funk and blues rock.
For me, books dont capture as much of my attention as movies or music (though I actually enjoy reading non- fiction books occasionally.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a commando trainee in the Singapore Armed Forces, I can say that i've been paid to jump out of a plane. XD
Teach, Learn, Share
As I'm still relatively young (I hope), I have much more to learn than to teach, but hopefully that changes as I gain more experience over time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a multitude of embarassing stories to share, mostly based on the silly mistakes i've made in my short life (insert alcoholic beverages here).
Also I can share sneak peeks into the culture i was raised in and help with the geographical location of Singapore, since it's such a difficult country to find on the map.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
