ABOUT ME

****I WILL BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY FROM July 4th through July 19th AND UNABLE TO HOST****

I grew up in a small Texas-Mexico border town called Eagle Pass (rests right alongside the Rio Bravo, in between Del Rio and Laredo). My home/my city really got me thinking about culture and the role it plays in human interaction and our experience on this planet.

I went away to college in Michigan and that was a real culture shock. I had never seen so many tall people (or snow) in my life. After university, I returned to Texas, and then realized I was not ready to "settle". So I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Was there for 3 years, which was extremely challenging. It was there that I did most of my "growing up"...and when I was finished with that, thought I'd try the East Coast for a change. So here I am.

I'm pretty down to earth; enjoy my live music, good beer, thought-provoking conversations, indie-flicks, and I love to laugh. Enjoy playing a little volleyball once in a while, being physically active, and paint in pastels and oils in my spare time. However, I will allow myself to be suckered into a dance club every once in a while :)There's still a little Vegas left in me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Danced w/Drew Barrymore. Climbed the Pyramids in Teotihuacan. Fell in love once..that was pretty amazing.

I can teach you how to make any food spicy :) Haha..I love peppers.
