About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm a Massage Therapist that moved to the portland area in 2014. I have a lot of hobbies and enjoyments, and love to meet new and interesting people. I can't always host, but I do at least attempt what I can to add to the community. I've never had any luck being hosted, but look forward to the experience.

PHILOSOPHY

It's all for the Better. No matter what happens in life something can be gained from it, it just takes a strong will to work for the positive in everything you do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hanging out with local surfers, hosting visiting surfers, and talking with far away surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several people, and enjoyed dinners and events with many others. I look forward to the day tha I can actually enjoy surfing another person's couch myself.

Interests

Snowboarding, long-boarding, snowmobiling, hiking, reading, wine, food, travel, Massage-Therapy, biking, fish, and tons of other things. Always looking for more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Easy read fantasy like "the dresden files", "mistborn trilogy", and most things by Neil Gaiman. Hitchhiker's Guide and Ender's game are both common re-reads.
Movies: have a hard time holding still, but there are a few good ones. Wife has a nice movie collection.
Music: Almost everything from Metal to Jazz. Pandora is always giving me new things to try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the Iguacu Falls in paraguay/brazil are AMAZING!

Teach, Learn, Share

Living in portland, but not part of the "hipster" scene. Have a spare mattres with clean sheets for guests, or a couch if the prefer, but no private room. Shared bathroom with my wife and I, and usually a little bit of room in the fridge. Terrible parking availability.
Usually just a quite place to crash, but sometimes up for showing people the town. Can only support about a day or two, and 2 person max.

Countries I’ve Visited

Paraguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
