About Me

oh, these sections are always the hardest, aren't they...
For where I'm from, it's unusual to travel as much as I have. But I've always been interested in other cultures and their history. Along with travelling for pleasure, I've been lucky enough to have occupations that get me around the world, as well.
And funny enough, back in my rodeo days, we were "couch surfing" before there was a CouchSurfing...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

part of travelling is being oh-so-lucky to sometimes find someone friendly and helpful enough to put you up for a night. most of that is accomplished via chance. this site helps remove that variable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

as can't list more than one... just a few:
- took a business trip to the jungle in Brazil. Took a plane in, as there's no roads to make it to the sight we had to visit. And once I got there, another world...
- swimming with the whale sharks in Cebu
- quite an adventure to get to Angel Falls (Venezuela)
- the entire experience going through Turkmenistan to get to the Darvaza gas crater ('Door to Hell')...holy sh*t...
