I grew up in Texas my whole life and I have no intention of living there again. I just recently moved to London to start a masters at UCL.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Moving to a foreign place can be tough. Especially meeting new friends. I am looking to meet new people in London and also as I travel to other places.

I think you don't really get to see the essence of a city until you see the city through a locals eyes :)

I'm a fan of a lot of bands: Mumford and Sons, the Civil Wars, Ingrid Michealson, Matt Nathanson, the list an go on for a while.

My book list is also super long but I absolutely love A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Forty Rules of Love, Persepolis, and basically anything that can make me both laugh and cry.

Movies follow that same rule!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is it bad that I have to think about this a lot :/

How about one of the funniest things I've done. Going white water rafting down the Zambezi River is probably at the top of that list.
