About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover the 30 hour-day :) I badly need it!

ABOUT ME

First of all, I don't like this kind of descriptions...a whole life is not enough to find out all about someone...so, what can I say? I try to be friendly with everyone, I live the busy life of young doctors, and I like that (most of the time). What else? Sunshine. Long talks. Books. Music. Full moon. Cats, dogs, animals. People, all kind of. Smiles. Laughs. I love the smell of the earth after rain. I drink cocoa with cinnamon. I play guitar, flute, piano - or at least I try. My neighbors don't like that.
What about you?

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live, easy as that!

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS:
Literature is "my home". Orwell, Kundera, Jozsef Attila, Marquez, Borges, Niccolo Ammaniti, Alessandro Baricco, Umberto Eco, Kurt Vonnegut, Jane Austen, Dostoievski, Bulgakov, hungarian, romanian contemporary literture, poetry of all kind...sometimes I even try to create something myself.
My recent discovery is Niccolo Ammaniti and Herta Muller - two very different authors, yet I enjoy them both.

MUSIC:
almost everything played with instruments, from alternative rock to jazz, balkan, folk music. What I don't like: techno, house and all the monotone noise that causes me headache :P

MOVIES:
Lots lots lots... Tim Burton's, Kubrick's and Lars von Trier's movies. Italian movies (Baaria and Fellini's classics), animations and cartoons for the child in me (CorpseBride, Ratatuille, The secret of Kells). Everything that makes me laugh, cry, think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a new life coming to this world :) The birth of my sister's little daughter was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
And since I work as a doctor I see amazing things often, the process of healing is amazing and unique, and I'm happy every time I can contribute to it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn: knitting, Russian or Serbian language, painting, sewing, handleing my emotions, reading people's mind, cooking interesting food, writing a novel, juggling ...the list goes on and on.

I can teach: sleeping in extreme places (I am really good in this one, if there will ever be a world cup I have the best odds!), puppy eyes face expression, how to make a delicious polenta or tiramisu, how to say "Cheers" in a lot of languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Funny stories from the medical world, health tips...
With fellow travellers I usually share my food or drink. Last time on the train to Limburg with a nice couple in their 50s - we accidentaly spilled a bit of drink on them when opening the bottle, but after apologies we ended up drinking it together and sharing travel stories :)
