Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing as much of the natural beauty around the world as I can.
ABOUT ME
I grew up as a competitive gymnast and have forevermore been involved in sports, hiking, yoga and outdoorsy nature things. I love the fine arts, and the culture gained from travelling and meeting fellow travelers.
I graduated in 2010 from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Global Studies and Spanish. Currently working at a social music-making application company with the mission to connect the world through music.
PHILOSOPHY
In this phase of my life: Find the balace between work and play and istening to my body and taking care of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to spread tolerance around. I want people to think about their judgments on foreigners and hopefully after having experiences with them they think differently and are not so quick to judge. I want to meet new people and learn from them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every experience with Couchsurfing has improved the trip more than you can put into words. Being shown around and taken out by local people give you an experience you cannot experience any other way. Meeting Marino in Napoli, Italy was the best international experience I've ever had. He opened his home to my friend and I, taught us us how to cook Pasta Carbonara, introduced us to his friends, took us out, showed us beautiful scenery, and made us feel right at home. We skipped our following destination just to get more time with him and his friends. Thank you Marino!

Music, Movies, and Books
Love being introduced to new music, and I love reading but will only read books recommended to me or gifted (horrible luck picking out something at Barnes&Noble).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode Camels in the Sahara and stayed in Berber tents.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to do cartwheels and handstands, and much much more!
I want to improve my French. I want to learn about Master's Programs abroad and I want to learn how to play drinking games from all around the world.
