I'm a very experienced backpacker and also enjoy rappelling and rock climbing. Always down for a good hike :)

The Bay area is lots of fun, and I hope to discover it more fully in the company of my surfers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and surfed quite a bit in Israel, Ethiopia and Russia, and I did a hitchhiking-couchsurfing tour of the US from coast to coast!

Now that I've moved in to my new home, I continue hosting in Berkeley :)

Interests

Books, books and more books!

Hiking, vegetarian cooking, math & science, politics economics & history, sports of all kinds, long distance running, rollerblading, swing dancing, improv, slacklining, table tennis, scuba diving, yoga, partying.

People: their triumphs, foibles, yearnings and wit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working with kids, teaching them outdoor skills.

Hitch hiked and couch surfed the US from coast to coast :-)

Love to teach, would be glad to help with any of the things listed in the interests section, as well as with Hebrew and English.
