Despite a Starbucks on every corner, Amanda pretty much hates coffee. I do enjoy rain, lemonade, classic rock, public markets and many, many books.

PHILOSOPHY

Amanda's personal philosophy is so grand that she has difficulty defining it in the English language. Words such as "peace," "love," and "lemonade!" can be found among the attempts.

With my area of study (Sociology), I am ready to analyze and spread the word about my experience as a couch surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every one of my couch surfing experiences have been great! I have made lasting friendships and had such interesting and insightful conversations that I will remember forever!

I am an avid reader, movie watcher, crocheter, eater, walker and amateur lemonade connoisseur, to name a very few.

Music, Movies, and Books

I...like a lot. I am a big fan of any Jane Austen adaptation, random TV shows (Chuck, House, Grey's Anatomy, How I met Your Mother, Modern Family etc.) and the occasional movie with large explosions, I am actually a sucker for a good sports movie. I have a sizable library, including Harry Potter, Tolkien, Austen, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amanda has paddle boated across a mile-wide lake, has seen the Western Washington mountains from top to bottom, has built a house in Mexico (sadly not her own), and volunteered for numerous organizations to help the homeless across America.
