I am an Indian living in Budapest since the past 3 years. I did my Mechanical engineering masters at BME Budapest. I work as a business analyst in the city and I love meeting people from new cultures and sharing their amazing food. FOR THE GUESTS: =1. Please prefer not to arrive too late in the night while arriving for the first time as you won't be having the key of the house at that time. No requests if you are arriving in between 12 and 6 in the morning . =2. While you have complete freedom to do whatever you want in the apartment, please bring your own shampoos, brushes, etc . =3. My place is also not a cloak room or a hostel. So if you are planning to just dump your luggage at my place and leave without even having a proper chat with me , this is not the place for you. I am in CS to know about new cultures and make amazing friends and would love to know new people . Please maintain the spirit of CS . =4. Cleanliness of the house especially the toilet and the bathroom is very important. I am allergic to some synthetic products especially make up so while you are free to use anything at home for yourself , please don’t keep your toiletries especially make up permanently in the bathroom as I don’t want it to get mixed up with my stuff and lead to allergy . =5. You will be given proper blankets and pillows so please at least make them up properly before finishing your stay. =6. On the last day of the visit, you will have to leave the home with me whenever I am going to work . You can’t leave the keys in the mailbox or to any kebab shop next to my place . I am sorry but I am not comfortable with being handed my house keys to random kebab people. Sorry for the inconvenience . The other option, which most of the guests prefer is to hand me the keys after I come back from work which is also upto you guys. =7. On the weekdays , I leave home at 8:00 am and come back at around 5:30 pm so if you are coming or leaving on a weekday, I can only meet you and hand you over the keys at that time . The rest of the days you will have the keys so you are free to come or go whenever you want . =8. I only host someone with hosting or surfing references. No exceptions. I have seen a practice nowadays that people get references written up from there best friends , etc.. While there is nothing wrong with it , I don’t think it necessarily counts as one . =9. The basic thing that one can do in a request is at least address it to me . I don’t ask for a personalised friend request but it is basic courtesy that you at least address the person you are talking to. =10. I can give you tips and advice on where to go about in the city and what to do but I can’t show you the city . Of course I can have a couple of drinks with my guests or maybe prepare some food with you guys but don’t expect me to go out showcasing you parts of the city. Really sorry but working close to 50 hours a week takes a lot out and I prefer to rest in the free time I get . =11. Please don’t contact me on Facebook if your requests finished and you want to stay at my place . I will not reply to those . I am sorry for these rules but I have had a few bad experiences related to these rules so would highly appreciate it if my guests would cooperate with me over them. Thanks

MUSIC- I listen to a bit of everything. Always keeping the options open. Have been a big Linkin Park fan as a kid and progressed to like Imagine Dragons or some of the Dutch DJs like Hardwell and Tiesto. But at times , I even listen Andrea Bocelli. So it’s pretty diverse.

MOVIES- The MCU is love . James Bond too, from Roger Moore to Daniel Craig. Loved the Rocky movies as well. Ask me anything about Harry Potter too.

BOOKS- I love reading biographies . Usually I am always reading a book at a time . In the thriller and mystery genre, it’s DAN BROWN for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Warsaw for 6 weeks to volunteer but ended up finding the love of my life there.

I can teach you about beers . I recently completed my course as a beer sommelier and have tasted close to 2000 different beers ( no I am not an alcoholic 😂, I usually do it twice a week). I can teach you how to cook some good Indian food.

I am open to learn anything that’s productive, fun and unique.
