About Me
My name is Shahar Shitrit, I am 23 and I am from northern Israel. I love traveling and hiking around the world, go to adventures, making new friends and be exposed to different cultures and food. I love dancing especially Latin dancing and I'm pretty good in Salsa. I also love partying and always like to attend techno, house, dance and pop clubs. I consider myself to be artistic - I paint and I draw portraits and I appreciate a lot Art and Literature, so if you want to go to a theater show or a museum, I am your partner! I read a lot. Some of my favorite books are The Catcher In The Rye, Gone With the Wind and La Miserable. I have a dog named Jessica and a parrot named Tuki, and I adore animals of all kind. Moreover, I love music and live concerts are my thing. Among my favorite artists - The Beatles, Alt J, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Queen. In my last job I was a counselor in a summer camp in Arizona, and enjoyed it so much! Right now I am on a year trip in Latin America. that's me on a nutshell - a girl that loves having fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe that the best way to experience a place is to meet and hang out with the local people that can introduce me to all the city's coolest and mysterious places around. Also I will be traveling for a long time in the states, Canada, Central and South America so I would love to spend my money on experiences instead of hotels.
