ABOUT ME

Former public school math teacher on a hiatus to travel around the US. On a winter break road trip I fell in love with the road and decided that I'd like to do this for a while. Sold all my stuff, packed my car and drove west from DC. Now I'm just traveling on the road meeting cool people and seeing amazing places. Currently living in Austin to save up to travel some more.

Interests

I love traveling and meeting local people. Personally I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, kayaking, driving my little Kia for hours and hours, car Jeopardy games, and the occasional Facebook binge between gas stations. I'm also a pretty big nerd about some things. I really love reading/ watching the Game of Thrones series, for example. I'm also a recovering gamer. I bought a guitar a couple months ago and I'm pretty into that now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning! I'm always happy to listen and participate in anything that improves my body and mind. I taught high school math and also ran a rock shop (fossils, minerals, crystals, etc...) so I can teach you about all that stuff.
