Hey, I’m Shahru (Shimon) from Azerbaijan.

I'm Jewish by ethnicity and have been living in Apolda, Thuringia (Germany), for the past three years. Currently, I’m pursuing my studies in Economics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. I have a passion for traveling and meeting new people, always open to exploring new experiences and embracing challenges. Staying positive and wearing a smile is my mantra!

In recent years, I ventured to the Himalayas in Nepal, where I trekked to the Annapurna mountain, reaching an altitude of 4,500m. I’d love to share my trekking experiences with fellow travelers.

I've also volunteered at various local and international events, such as the Formula One Azerbaijan Grand Prix and the UEFA Champions League Final. Additionally, I had the privilege of serving as a VIP Venue Manager at UEFA EURO 2020.

My interests include skateboarding, camping, traveling, and swimming. I consider myself open-minded and find it easy to connect with people.
