Über mich
Hello there,
Hello there! I'm Shaima, and I'm thrilled you're checking out my profile. I'm a spirited professor hailing from the Windy City, Chicago. What makes my day? Teaching and connecting with people from diverse cultures and walks of life. At the core of my being is a deep-rooted passion for promoting inner peace and mental well-being. I strive to bring about a positive change in people's thought patterns and lives, one warm smile at a time!
Personality-wise, you'll find me easygoing and super friendly. I take immense pride in keeping my living space clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. If you appreciate tidy and welcoming environments, you'll feel right at home with me.
When I'm not teaching or hosting, you'll often find me in quiet, natural settings. Lakeside spots hold a special place in my heart; there's something magical about the tranquility of water that helps me reconnect with myself.
So if you're in town and are looking for not just a place to stay but also meaningful conversations and a peaceful atmosphere, hit me up. Can't wait to meet you and share stories!
Best,
Shaima

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Music: I'm listening to all kinds of music... I like Jazz, Techno, Blues, Rock, Sufi, Metal, Folk, world music, and classics. I love the oldies songs and soft music. Some of the artists that I usually listen to are 2Chelos, Yanni, Andre Rieu, Andrea Pochili, Jason Mraz, Samvel Yervinyan, and Nici Parrott, to name but a few.
Movies: I like all kinds of movies as long as they have a meaningful story and good acting performance, but I wouldn't say I like gore movies.
Books: I also read all genres but am more into non-fiction. Yet, for the last four years, I enjoyed audiobooks more as I don't really have time to sit down and read a paper book anymore.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I've done a lot of amazing things :D
I went skydiving in Dubai, Bungee Jumping in Florida, Camel Safari and camping In Sinai Egypt, Drove a Jeep Safari in Saudi Arabia :D , Kayaking and rafting in many places in the US, and Egypt's Nile. And the craziest was Zipline in Chicago at -34 C degree - I almost got frostbite :/ but it was great fun.
