ABOUT ME

I love painting, writing, reading, drinking wine, cooking vegetarian, and relaxing in parks.

I graduated from Arcadia University (outside Philadelphia, USA). I have studied abroad a lot including places like London, Toulouse, Paris, Athens, and Edinburgh. I spent Spring 2010 in Edinburgh interning at the Scottish Parliament and loved the CS group there. I graduated with my Masters in European Union Policy Studies while living in Florence, Italy for a year. I just love living abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently trying to re-vamp the Philadelphia Couchsurfing scene as, quite frankly, it looks grim. Considering it is such a great city, I think we CSers need to start a weekly meet-up. So, I have gone ahead and organized it. Trying to wake this amazing city up! I used to organize events for the Edinburgh group.

I like to meet at the couchsurfing events and organize events. I have hosted a few times for those emergency CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living/traveling in Europe I met wonderful people through couchsurfing events. I love the potluck picnics and weekly meetings :)

Interests

I am usually up for any cultural experiences, sightseeing, live music, pubs, trying new things. I love people telling me about their lives and their own travel experiences. I enjoy wine, art, and vegetarian cuisine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Horror movies scare me so i tend to like romantic comedies and dramas. Anything that makes me laugh is acceptable.
As for music, I find it good to try any song once. I prefer alternative music/indie rock.
Historical fiction books are right up my alley.
All movies, music, and books are more enjoyable to me when they tell a great story and teach me something I did not know or think about prior.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sang the National Anthem at the Phillies game.

I can teach others how to drink wine properly, how to become an author, and I am great at giving advice :)
