HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still very new to CS and trying to figure it all out as I go along. I've been to a few CS meet-ups in Italy and absolutely loved them! Met so many amazing people! I'd love to have the surfing experience as well. I'm not able to host anyone myself at the moment, but in the future I'd be honored to be a host! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to admit that I am a little bit nervous, but I am open to many different things! I value respect above all else, and only ask that there is that level of respect between all parties no matter where I end up!

Interests

I love love love, and I repeat...LOVE music and languages (I speak both beginner Korean and Spanish...although since living in Korea for 3 years, I tend to think more in Korean at the moment...lol!), photography, writing, and most other art forms. I'm a creative girl and I love meeting other creative people. I'm also a fan of nature and being outside. While I do have a healthy fear of spiders and cockroaches, I'm not opposed to activities such as riding elephants and kayaking down rivers in Laos. :-D

Music: WAYYY TOO MANY TO NAME, but I'll list who is currently on my turntable...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's very hard to choose just one thing. I think that I would have to say that taking a trip to Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos was the most amazing thing I have experienced so far. The contrast of beauty and danger, modern and traditional things, and of course elephant-riding, made it one unforgettable trip! I would love to go back one day. Especially to Laos.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me about music! Your language! Art! Your experiences! I love stories, so please share them with me. I love people and all the ups and downs that come with them. I'm human and I get irritated, sad, and mad like anyone else, but I do like to think that I am growing from each experience. I won't ever allow ignorance to keep me from getting to know people as they are. I change and I grow. I definitely want to learn how to adapt to different situations as well! I want to travel smart. As far as what I have to share, well, in addition to an open mind and experiences living in and traveling around Asia, if you want to know about different songs in different languages, I can share info lol! I'm also a singer and I can definitely give a few voice lessons if you have a keyboard available!
