ABOUT ME

Just your average 28 year old. I've held just about every kind of job imaginable, from fast food to telemarketing to factory work to bus driver to tutor. Finally returned to college to work toward a long-overdue degree, which I should receive sometime in the next year. Then on to a master's program I go, looking for certification which says I can be responsible for molding the minds of our youth. I'm a book fiend and read more than can possibly be healthy for one person to do in a lifetime. When I'm not reading, I'm studying or fueling up on large amounts of hot tea and ginger ale. I'm not very religious, I don't smoke, and I believe strongly in community service.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone that crosses our paths has something to contribute to our lives, if we're open to it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this community, but have done a bit of couch surfing through friends and friends of friends over the past several years. I've lived entire summers in my car and on random floors and couches and in my tent in back yards and campgrounds.

兴趣

I'm passionate about education. I change interests as often as I change my socks, on any given day I'm trying something new. My major hobbies include reading and writing, listening to music, gluing stuff, hanging out with friends, haunting the local coffee shops, and riding my bicycle.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Witnessing the births of my nephew and niece. Climbing the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon. Meeting my relatives in Texas. Being witness to a close friend finding her birth mother in Mexico. Watching the moment a child really understands something I taught them. Moving cross-country to a place I didn't know anyone and had never seen before.
