About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To let go and master flowing

ABOUT ME

During the last 2 years, I have participated in the reconstruction of my life of 18 years in Northern, Ontario. This looked like selling my Yoga Studio and leaving my Holistic Life Coaching practice and preparing the canvas for the next half of my life. My sons, now 22 & 19, were preparing their own journeys and mine no longer included Northern Ontario.

I have been very fortunate to have traveled to some wonderful places around the world, and it set a curiosity into play ... "What next, and where ... ?!"

And so, July 13th, I began a cross-Canada "tenting" journey to visit my son in Whistler, BC., with the intention of then taking until November 30th learning how to "Be", go with the flow and practice what I teach, in a truly grand way! And then Nelson, BC happened. Stopped for an evening and ended up living here the entire time ... It has been magical and delightfully inspiring!

About Me: I am curious, courageous, introspective, loving, 5Rhythms dancer, present, kind, very hard on myself, and learning how to stay "in the flow" of life. I would love to surrender to an ease in life now, receive and feel nourished in a really good way by Source.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel I am beginning to really learn about living my life. After 22 years of parenting and giving/learning a lot from my work, putting a lot of energy out, I have decided that I wish to feel more thru my senses - felt sense awareness - through living with more awareness of taste, smell, touch, sound, sight ... all around the world. I will like to feel filled up in a good way by those things I truly value and believe it. That way I can replenish and reinvigorate me so that I may ready for what is next ... And how exciting humanity is beginning to look!

I sense that it is important to learn how to really and truly take care of the Self, in the most nourishing, nurturing and deeply inspiring way. Give that request over to something of a Great Mystery and learn to flow - so stay out of the way of needing to conduct, control and dictate what is best. I know I don't really Know. This is exciting. So what's possible?!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At present, I will be traveling until I land in Nosara, Costa Rica from December to July, 2013. Here I will be working, so unable to host. I could be available for a visit if you are in Nosara!! And when I am settled in my own space, I would like to open my "couch" to world travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never surfed, and find myself inspired by this idea because of the opportunity to connect more with "communities," and those that share a like-vision. I wish to experience cool conversations, moments - however brief, and to see other people's lives. What a gift! Thanks for sharing!

Interests

Interesting, deep and curious conversations.
Food that is multi-dimensional and transports me to another place and time.
Smells, color, tastes, sounds, sight, texture ... I love to see beauty and am awed by it over and over as I travel and journey.
I love to dance, hike, journal, yoga, camp, color, paint, create, teach, inspire, learn.

The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey.
Walking into that space transported me to another space and time when I was a merchant. Loved the potency, sensuality and aliveness that was felt in the Bazaar, Mosques, morning prayer calls, Palaces, back alleys, cobblestone streets ... I felt so alive!
