Most people call me by my yoga name - Lakshmi Devi - 'Goddess of Abundance', which was given to me by my teacher Swami Satchidananda, in 1974. I guess you could say I was a yoga pioneer in this country - lived in a yoga ashram for 7 years, and started teaching yoga in 1973, way before it was a cool thing to do! Yoga continues to be a cornerstone in my life, for which I am ever grateful.

I love adventure, new experiences, connecting with people, and being in nature. I have traveled to many places, but there are still so many places I would love to visit on this big beautiful planet!

I am an open, friendly, ageless spirit and connect well with all ages and types of people.
