I'm a senior in mechanical engineering at the University of Texas. I'm new to couchsurfing as well.
When I'm hosting, all I ask is that you be respectful. In return, I have a clean place with a comfortable place to sleep, and I'll help show you around when I have time!
I haven't been a guest yet, but all I ask for really is a clean, comfortable place to stay with a pillow and a blanket. I'd love to meet new people, but I understand if you don't have time in your busy life to be a tour guide.
