About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Raising the coolest little dude I’ve ever met.

ABOUT ME

I'm an ethical slut with too many passions to stay still. I fall in love easily and live my life through the whole spectrum of emotions available to me. I think the monetary system is destroying our humanity, and I try not to take anything for granted. I spent more than a decade teaching aerial classes for a living and I'm pretty sure it's the greatest job in the world. I love challenging my body and helping other people discover their bodies can do amazing, seemingly impossible things. I’m a new mama to an amazing little being, excited to share my love of traveling in unconventional ways with them.

PHILOSOPHY

Be Decent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met some amazing people and had some incredible experiences both hosting and traveling through couch surfing. I’m not in a place to host at the moment ( I live in a converted garage with two adults, a baby and a dog), but am happy to show you around my little beach town on the Mendocino coast if you’re ever out our way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed throughout my European adventure. Saw and heard some incredible things. Met some incredibly kind people. Good times. Took an incredible road trip across the United States. So far, so good. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to go to southern India and learn some of their traditional art forms. It changed my life. The last day we spent there a few of us went to the local temple for what was, essentially, a sunday morning Carnatic music jam. We sat on big blankets on the floor of the temple with a group of about 10 locals and tried to keep up with them on the songs we had learned throughout the summer. They were incredibly supportive as we butchered their beautiful music. They were so joyful and excited to share that morning with us. I left with the biggest smile on my face and it was the best way I could have imagined to end such an incredible journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach and perform aerial silks. I know a lot about body awareness, a little bit about acrobatics, and I can teach you how to fly :) Always looking to connect with other circus folk and find spaces to train while I'm traveling.

I studied theatre for a long time, so I have a lot to say about that. I'm particularly interested in political theatre and the ways in which theatre is different from other forms of entertainment and how we can use the things that are specific to theatre to get people thinking.

I have played the violin for 16 years and can read music. Let's jam.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of crazy stories about circus life, polyamory, urban exploring, and growing up in the bay. A compassionate ear and a passionate voice. I'll gladly hear you out even if we don't agree. I love hearing other people's points of view and trying to find common ground.
