I am a cool person, naturist spirit, likes to have fun and is low key, loves traveling while still young at 41, likes to read books and see the movie when it comes out like the book Precious, Choke also Hunger Games and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I tell people about Couchsurfing and I host people as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed when I first got to New York before re-locating permanently because I fell in love with it so much. The people were awesome. I love you New York, no matter how bad they talk about you...hahah!! Also I have couchsurfed in Berlin, Germany and Sweden and hosted as well. All over the world. Ok just like maybe 4 countries.

Interests

I am interested in live music, reading novels and learning new languages and cultures. Also trying foreign food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books that I have read recently or can remember off the top of my head are Waking with Enemies, Hunger Games, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Wifey, Sleeping with Enemies, Choke, Ataska, 1984, Beyond the Thunderdome, Across 110th Street, Biography of Muddy Waters, Biography of Jimmy Hendrix, Bio of Led Zeppelin, Color Purple--Movies-->Splash, Mo' Betta Blues, Death at a Funeral (funny) Coming to America.

Music that I love to listen to are: Two Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, Jah9, SOS Band, JayZ, Rich Homie Quan, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Migos and some others.

One of my favorite movies is Black Panther.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing that I have done was work with a group of adolescent boys and teach them how to play guitar, I also worked with them on their poetry writing skills and The Eldorado Elementary School boys that I worked with won 1st place for a recycling project that we did as a team. It was an amazing turnaround being that these guys come from low-income situations and most don't have a father figure. So it was a real break-through to get these kids to learn.
