Hi there, I'm Shamir an Osteopathy student with base in Milan, Italy.
Born in Rome, in love with travelling (better if alone, it's more fun most of the time!). In love with theatre, literature and art, music (I play the accordion) and bikes! Concerned about environmental issues, I want to explore the wondrous places in wich nature is still managing to resist to the evil actions of human kind. Full of hope, nevertheless, that our generation will be THE change.

Music, Movies, and Books

The most vital books in my life story so fare , just to quote some, are: Siddharta, Narziss und Goldmund, Le petit Prince, Arabian Nights and almost all of Shakesperian's work.

Music is so beautiful I can't actually imagine to pick some "favourite" on other..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

well, they were "incredible things"for me, I suppose.

Listened to the Ocean's Heart when I was on Inishmore (Aran Islands, Ireland).

Took a bath naked in the Atlantic in november (it was fun, even if terribly cold) just because I missed too much the sea after months of deep countryside.

Literally followed Yann Tiersen's music, going to Ouessant, following the track of his Eusa album. I found the exact places which inspired his compositions and listen to that music at its heart.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do love cooking, and thanks to my country I'm good in making some dishes and glad to teach them to others!

I'm in love with the human body, my studies and inclination bring me to find it amazing in every expression. Interested thus in mindfullness training, basic yoga and meditation. If anyone, anytime, suggest me to practise something based on ones sensations, I'm in for it from the very first moment.

I'm in love with bikes too and I can handle make reparations and teaching how to fix basic things (like a brake, orhow to change a tyre or so).

I'm ready to share adventures and to listen to new stories, new lives crossing my path are the vital part of my journey.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm working as a massage therapist at the moment (I perform swedish relaxing massage) so if you have a table and a couple of blankets I'd be glad to offer you a total body massage.

I can also cook and I love doing it, so I can be your chef for one dinner, one day or one week, who knows?

my family live next to Venice, so if you'll ever feel like coming to Italy, you have an house where to stay and a guide to ask to! At the moment I'm staying in Milan, so plenty of room there too for amazing travellers!
