About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eat my way through the world!

ABOUT ME

I can never stay in one place for more than 6 months.

PHILOSOPHY

Dedicate my life to do everything I'm passionate about!
Be curious, ask question and try to find out the answer.
I treat other seriously but treat myself lightly.
Experience life without regret, bad experience sucks at the moment but is priceless later in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cook and cut hair professionally (there are more things I can do too), if you host me, I'll be more than happy to cook for you and give you a new lid if you need one.

I'm traveling at the moment (US) In fact, I've been traveling and living abroad during the last 30 months, but I missed Montreal so much, so I spent summer 2013 back home, making some dough, picnicking with friends and getting healthy again. Not that I was sick or something, I spent nearly a year in Beijing last year, the experience was amazing but the pollution is rather serious (both air and food) so coming back home to recuperate was a sensible idea.

Now I'm traveling again, but when I move back to Montreal (in February, haha.. the coldest month, but why not?) and find a home, you'll be staying with me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first CS experience in the Bay Area (Sausalito and San Francisco)
How could you scream and say 'fantastico' at the same time?

Interests

Making food like a pro
Discovering new dishes and dissecting it into basic ingredients then recreating it myself
Music.. discovering the music scene of the the town I'm going
Going to a good show
Love the nature
Learning how to do mostly everything myself

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak 4 languages..Cantonese is my mother tongue. Beside being a chef, languages fascinate me the most, both the evolvement and the modern aspects of it.

I taught English when living in China and enjoyed it tremendously, seeing someone improving and taking interest in language are such fulfilling experience!

I'm trying to obtain a certificate to teach Mandarin in the near future, it helps to fund my travel. I'm patient and love to teach/share, if you need to polish your Cantonese, Mandarin and English, I'm happy to help. Also, I can teach you to cook pretty much anything.. just name it!

I'm interested in your hometown, from food to music, what make people the way they are.
