About Me

Canadian girl, loving life and fond of travelling and meeting new people !

Can be briefly described as a Montrealer-Mediterranean mix of a woman but the only way for you to know more is us meeting !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting locals and connecting memories of a new place with their own stories and the time we've spent together . If you like telling stories and sharing your passions, you've found your perfect audience and hopefully I can make you laugh with my own adventures around the world.

Interests

I love discovering places and meeting people and to me you don't discover a place if you don't meet its people!
To quote Alexandra David Neel, a Belgian adventurer, " the one who travels without meeting others does not travel, he just moves", well that's it...

I have been lucky enough to travel/live in many places over the past years and be hosted by local people through CS or other means. This has led me to countless of adventures like sleeping in a van and going dumpster diving with a host in the States, my first motobike ride with a host in Quebec city, learning to play backgammon in Turkey and to use a pendulum to find underground water.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm known for being spontaneous and I went camping in Ecuador with people I met the day before... Long story short we're now friends for life and survived people trying to break into our tent in the middle of the night, realizing the tent was broken but still managing to sleep at -1 degree, allergic reactions, you name it. I have plenty other stories like camping in a semi-underground WW2 bunker in Greece, help deliver a baby cow in the Subarctic at -30, driving a truck in Turkey when I didn't even have a car license at the time, getting stuck in a Turkish toilet in Senegal ....I can't wait to hear some of your stories and make new ones!

Teach, Learn, Share

Do you like music? art? food security? outdoor activities? Then we have a lot to share.
