My name is Shanice, but you may call me Shan.
I am a passionate soul with a love for new laidback experiences and meeting new friends at every step along the way.

I grew up in the beautiful island nation of Jamaica, but have lived in the US for over a decade.

I also lived in the UK for a year, pursuing my Master's degree while nurturing lifelong friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am excited to meet new people, experience new cities and countries, while immersing myself in new cultures.

Couchsurfing is a new opportunity for me to meet with other genuinely kind people who want to share their space.

While I am not able to return the favor by accepting guests at the moment, I am definitely willing to in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done many amazing things, some of which I would never imagine I would have the opportunity to do.

One amazing thing that sticks out in my mind was going on my first hike in 2014, tackling my feast of heights in the process.
