About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life in spite of the difficulties it throws up

ABOUT ME

Live and work in Dublin since 2008. Couchsurfing was a great way for me to have a social life as a newcomer to the city and it was a big help in integrating into Dublin life

PHILOSOPHY

take a load off

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm good to meet for coffee and maybe show people around for a bit. I also go to the CS meetings in Dublin as often as I can..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly hosted people and met up for coffee in my city. I hope to go couchsurfing myself someday

Interests

my life revolves around music. professionally, i'm a sound engineer and when i'm not engineering a gig i'm working on one of my own music projects. If i'm not playing music i'm listening to it. aside from music though i also enjoy seeing films, if you wait long enough you might catch me with a book in my hand...

Music, Movies, and Books

movies i like would include.. Donnie Darko, A Life Less Ordinary, anythin left of the middle, music.. Jeff Buckley, The Band, CCR, among others. also i've recently been listening to Sigur Rós, Mogwai, and a few other instrumental bands... i love that kind of music.. Books... I don't read a lot but the few that I have read are gems. John Steinbeck is one of my favourite authors. Also Paul Auster, though I've only read one of his. I'm currently reading The Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A coffee shop in Amsterdam

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a song on the guitar if you like, and maybe my take on some of the food i like to make; i don't make any claim to be a culinary genius, but i do know my way around a kitchen.. I've always believed that you can learn things from every experience and person you encounter, and I'm open to learning whatever anyone is willing to teach, be it a nugget of wisdom, a funny story or a new song.I can share with you my story, my outlook on life, my values and ideals. Isn't that what we're here for...
