About Me

I'm an outgoing, emphatic and open-minded UX designer. I finished my undergrad in Taiwan, major in Industrial Engineering. Then, I came to the States to study Product development for my master degree. I've worked in a Startup in LA last summer and love the entrepreneurial atmosphere.

I love stories and make friends. During these two years in America, I always think about the difference between Western and Asian culture. I'm blessed to have these two experiences. I would like to stay in the States to learn more about the culture and people.

In my free time, I love to go to outdoor activities, visit some artsy places and play music. If you like urban adventures, feel free to hit me up :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people. Everyone has their unique experience and stories which fascinate me so much. At first, I was a bit afraid of meeting strangers. However, I've had great experience on meeting up with couch surfers who share the same value with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survive in America!!! Lol

I appreciate the time I've lived in America, learning the Western culture and experience the life here! When I graduated from school, I traveled to 5 cities during 27 days by myself. It's really amazing spending time alone and having good conversations with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

1. Music/Art
I love music and art! They are languages that all people speak that cut across racial, cultural, social barriers. I just started to play guitar and I like drawing

2. Culture differences
I'm lucky that I can study aboard, which is a nice way to experience culture. I've learned to pick up some intangible life skills and different perspective from people. Sometime it's stressful and lonely, but I appreciate all the challenges I've met.

3. Love/Relationships
As growing up and experiencing different cultures, I've realize the things we need from a relationship and seek out someone who share the same beliefs and values as we do. I'm curious about what's love and how should we maintain a relationship. I've read some articles and watched videos and talked to people. It's really interesting to know different perspectives, but probably the same motivations.

Every person has their thoughts and souls. I would love to listen to your stories :)
