I grew up in the UK but travelled to New Zealand and Australia 11 years ago and now call Australia home. Currently work as an Electrician however spent my younger years working ski seasons in the French Alps and summer seasons in Corsica and Bulgaria mainly in the hospitality area. I'm very outgoing and love meeting new people and getting involved in experience and culture of a place. I travel whenever we can and have just embarked on an open ticket around the world! I'm into most adventure sports but my heart lies in the water, I love surfing, kite surfing, diving and more recently free diving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently travelling and was told about couch surfing a few times so looked into it and it what I am all about! Meeting new and local people, socialising and enjoying a new place with a local insight! Hoping to give back to the community once we arrive back home in australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I get involved in most genres and love a good outdoor festival. Obviously my current selection of movies and books are around surfing and as we are on our way to Central America so am researching the waves as much as possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once travelling through Sri Lanka we stumbled upon a group of kids playing cricket in a dust bowl oval when my partner and I approached them it was like the King and queen had arrived, the game stopped and a new one began with our total inclusion, I believe we became captains.. We spent the next few hours playing cricket with the most beautiful bunch of kids and we invited back the next afternoon which was just as rewarding!! The smiles, the joy and the fun we had was a total amazing experience u couldn't pay for!! It's the free things in life!
