One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I can show around in my free days.
If you like to immerse into nature and get away from people, there's a small waterfall inside a forest, that we can hike alongside as well as through the water stream and take a bath. Having typical features of a tropical rainforest and no trails to follow because of being untouched by humans this is one of the least touristic place even among locals and it is a unique experience quite different from your usual hikes.
There's a rock Island in sea surrounded by small beautiful coral reefs. Can go there hiring a small fishing boat(no seats) and being not a touristic place, have to use air tubes to access the island. This is a spot only of fishermen, not even locals go there.
There's river safari in Madu river, I can book a boat for a whole big group only for 3000 rupees. If tourists go by themselves tourists will be charged 2000 rupees each. Safari includes cinnamon islands where a worker demonstrates how cinnamon is prepared for food from cinnamon trees. There's a fish therapy in river water, each tourist is charged 200 rupees for that. There's also a temple in a river island.
There are turtle hatcheries where tourists can buy turtles babies to release into ocean in evenings when it is little dark. For five turtles they charge 750 rupees, but to just watch turtles in the tanks it's only 250 rupees. If tourists go by themselve price is double of above.
There are Bathik clothes shops, mask museums, a puppet museum, spice gardens and temples in my village. Not to mention ocean is always along the roads everywhere. There's also a small river lagoon near by.
There are big shaking rocks in ocean that shake when hit by big waves. Climbing up them is quite dangerous, and if fall down from top one can die. There is a photo in my gallery I'm at top of them. It's near by my home.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If it is a weekday I can buy you a real local spicy rice and curry lunch at a nice restaurant in my village between 12-2.00 pm.
I can give special coins carved with tourist attractions of Sri Lanka such as Kandy temple of the sacred tooth relic, Sripada mountain (Adam's Peak), Colombo city, Galle fort, waterfalls, Ceylon Tea, Sri Lankan cricket etc. If you have been to one of those places it is nice to have such souvenirs.
