For me human relations are an integral part of human life. If we dont take the opportunity to talk to and understand others, than we will miss out on getting to know ourselves as we will not know what we are socially capable of and we will also miss out on important formative experiences. When I dont think I have a lot in common with a person, I make it a point to center the conversation around them so as to discover what their interests are and how we can learn from eachother.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I dont know anyone in France, I am hoping to use couchsurfing to find fun places to stay and make new friends. Im really excited about the possibility of meeting new people through couchsurfing. Lets hope this goes well

1. Learned French as an Adult, c'est dur

2. Taught English abroad in two different countries- France and Morocco

3. Travelled to Africa all by myself and survived my first night sleeping in a train station

4. Gone toe to toe with a group of Welsh rugby player in beer bong while staying at a hostel in Lisbon

5. Talked my way out of a fist fight in North Carolina

6. Been deported from Ireland- for not having the right visa to do volunteer work(I swear I'm completely harmless)
