I'm Shane, and I was born and raised on the east coast of the United States. I grew up loving to read, then I took up soccer. After getting into a university by Washington, DC, I took up jiu jitsu and have been practicing since late 2017.

I like active things, and eating great food. I don't drink really, nor do I smoke.

I've always wanted to write my own screenplay and direct a movie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a recent college graduate looking to travel through Europe and beyond. I don't want to move too fast though, I'd prefer taking my time in the places I visit. While a student I was an international student guide, which inspired my want to travel.

I'm also trying to practice as much jiu jitsu as I can! I'm trying to get off my butt and travel about.
