Reading: P.G. Wodehouse, The Washington Post, non-fiction of most types

Music: Garbage, Dragonette, Danish language music, real country music, John Prine, Patsy Cline, Mary Chapin Carpenter, a little of everything.

Movies: Mean Girls, Clueless, Rocky Horror, comedy in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ambling up to Hampstead Heath above London at 9PM on a cold January day. There was a young man and a young woman both tossing sticks on fire (very unexpected of course), I could see all of London at night and the London Eye looked like a blue-lit marble in the distance.

Running a marathon on a cold, rainy day in Dresden, Germany. Very touched by the city's history and its current residents.
