ABOUT ME

when i do something i try and do it well...so i think alot, i think...

I have various interests and always find it easier to mention the things i dont particulary like as those are much fewer than those i do!
So the ones i can think about at this moment are: fast and rash driving, being unpunctual, and people who always make me wonder about where i actually stand with them.
I prefer tea over coffee (usually), 'so you think you can dance' over 'american idol', chocolate icecream over vanilla, mammals over reptiles (and a household with a dog or cat gets 2 thumbs up from me!)
I am presently living with my father which is why i have indicated that i may be able to provide my couch...he is a very welcoming person but i will have to check with him when people would like to come and stay as it is his house.
I also find dissecting my personality to fit these forms very difficult...i'm sure i'm more interesting than my ability to make myself sound interesting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far i've met some CS'ers in Milan and have spoken to/met and hosted some CS'ers who have visited my city.

Interests

Latin dancing: so if you can or want to learn how to salsa, merengue, bachata, rueda or mambo get in touch!

I enjoy playing table tennis, watching grand slam tennis tournaments, walking (even in the rain), and saving money to travel.

I enjoy interacting with people and both my professions, as an allied health care professional and latin dance teacher, allow this. But i do require my own quiet time and am quite self-sufficient on my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading: the last few books i read were 'the memory keepers daughter', 'the reluctant fundamentalist', 'the white tiger', 'unaccustomed earth' and 'the death of mr love'. I also adore Calvin and Hobbes!
Music: from classical to rock, though i'm not too fond of rap.
I can play the piano and guitar though i'm very very rusty and out of practice now.
I especially like animated movies but try and watch as many movies that make it to Calcutta halls...unfortunately our city is often given a miss :-(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one thing that comes to mind at the moment is sitting with a group of people covering 4 generations...someone in their 90's, 70's, 50's and 20's...
