One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First day in Myanmar. We’ve been there for only a few hours. We visited a little during the day, went to a pagoda. The night sets in while we were heading out of the pagoda. This monk come to us and start talking with us. He finally ask us if we are hungry, which of course we are, and tell us to follow him.
We thought we could eat with him and pay for dinner. But, little did we know, monks can’t eat after noon!!!
He brought us back to the monastery he lives, ask for a woman to go get us some dinner and sits there with us talking to us. Few other joined in.
We woke up early the next morning to go to an english class he supports in a way of thanking him. We met incredible people. Still the best memory I have from this trip.
