My name is Shane McQuerter. I live in Los Angeles, work as a software developer, and travel as often as I possibly can. I love cooking, running, and climbing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used couch surfing in a couple of places around the world and have had great, great experiences every time. I first couch surfed in India when I was traveling around during the breaks in my study abroad program at Delhi University. Traveling alone, couch surfing quite honestly made all the difference in the trip. Looking back, almost all of my memories are of meeting wonderful people and getting a little glimpse into their lives while they graciously hosted me.

Intereses

My interests include music-- especially Indian Classical music. Psychology- which I study. Sports.. farming...

Really, I am excited to learn all I can about everything! I've always loved biking--I started with mountain biking in the deserts around San Diego but have since gotten into road biking and bicycle touring. I have messed around with a guitar for a good chunk of my life and I would have to say that I'm not sure I could live without music. I love it all, from Indian Classical to reggae.
