About Me

I am a designer based in Hong Kong. Easy-going, always curious to learn... no matter about art/ design/ music/ politics/ cultural/ language/ religion/ philosophy/ science/ economics... hahaha it's basically everything. Currently I am learning German, it's been more than two years now. Um.. and I cook well (especially Chinese dishes of course :p), but I am also unbelievably flexible in terms of eating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and getting to know people around the world. And for me, real interaction with the locals is the best way to know about the place. The trust and friendship are the most valuable memory that it can't be taken by the change of time or place :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films really, too many to mention. Among all, Andrei Tarkovsky is my favourite film-maker. haha but at the same time, for commercial movie, I am a big fan of Lord of the Rings.
For music, I listen to classical, modern classical, hiphop, post-rock, folk, folk rock, experimental, alternative, dub, britpop..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An unforgettable trip in South India. I was there as a voluntary interpreter in a international garment conference in Bangalore. I participated with a Mainland Chinese workers organisation and translate English for them in Mandarin Chinese during the event. We visited the local factories and workers' families, and had very good experience exchange with different organisation from all over the world. This trip fostered my will in contributing to make a change for the unfair situations, and I still remember how the hospitality of the Indian families and friends warmed my heart deeply.

Teach, Learn, Share

As said above, "I am always curious to learn... no matter about art/ design/ music/ politics/ cultural/ language/ religion/ philosophy/ science/ economics... hahaha it's basically everything. Currently I am learning German, it's been more than two years now. " And I found that language is always a fun thing to share and exchange :) Anyone interested to learn Chinese in an interesting way? :p
