About Me
ABOUT ME
Hey, my name's Shani, and I'm a California Native.
I am surrounded by serendipitous moments.
I consider myself a musician and have been teaching myself the baritone ukulele since November 2014. I also have training/can play piano/keys, a small amount of guitar, and vocals.
I'm into hooping (hula hoops). I really enjoy dancing whenever possible since I grew up taking a lot of dance classes.
If you're involved in the flow arts and spin stuff let's teach each other!
PHILOSOPHY
I try and be open, honest, and straightforward with others in and hope to encourage people just being comfortable being themselves and foster an attitude of non-judgement. When I feel comfortable with others it helps me appreciate the present. It's a gift. (Did I mention that I think wordplay is the highest form of humor?)
I really enjoy learning new skills (jack of all trades, master of none).
I can sew, do woodwork, dance, play piano & baritone ukulele, sing, knit, edit film & audio, Photoshop, and cook among other things.
More than anything I just want to go on adventures and meet people that inspire and add positivity to my life and I strive to do the same for others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling in the hopes of meeting people who can help me learn all sorts of worldly skills whether it be with clothing, business, music, or just understanding the world and people better. I'm also trying to work on myself and adding healthier habits and attitudes to my life; I'm avidly trying to increase my patience since it is something that having a surplus of is really useful for anything in life.
