Overview
About Me
I'm from a small quirky town in Northern California, love healthy food (a vegetarian who will on rare occasions make exceptions), music, writing, art, and travel, and am flexible and open minded. I love meeting and getting to know new people and am passionate about learning foreign languages and immersing myself in different cultures. I'll spend hours wandering around a new city, but if given the choice, would prefer to be out in nature on a mountain, in a meadow, skipping through a forest...I love love love camping, hiking, cuddling animals, munching on veggies from a garden, planning hypothetical trips, and daydreaming about one day road-tripping, biking or horseback riding across an entire continent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've just finished my first year working as a language assistant in the south of France and am now planning to explore as much of Europe as possible until my work contract resumes in the fall! I've only surfed a few times, but each experience was excellent. I think that couchsurfing is such a great platform for forming friendships with warm, loving, interesting people in all kinds of different places. I feel like this is an opportunity to find home and deep connection all over the world. I hope that once I'm back in France I'll be able to invite couchsurfers to my home - people have been so welcoming and generous with me, I'd like to be able to give back.
