Greetings! I'm Shanjeevan, a passionate individual hailing from the beautiful island of Sri Lanka and currently residing in Germany. As a devoted scuba enthusiast and co-founder of OceanBiome, I channel my energy into projects that not only engage and entertain but also educate individuals about the wonders of the ocean. Through my adventures, from climbing Europe's highest peak, Mount Elbrus, to advocating for peace through a cross-country walk in my homeland, I strive to align each endeavor with a meaningful social cause. I am pursuing my B.Sc. in Global Environmental and Sustainability Studies at Leuphana University. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A defining moment in my journey was embarking on a 566 km walk across Sri Lanka, stretching from the northernmost point to the southern tip of the country. In the span of just 12 days, I covered diverse landscapes, immersed myself in local communities, and experienced the heartbeat of Sri Lanka. This challenging yet rewarding trek not only tested my physical endurance but also became a profound exploration of the cultural richness and resilience that defines this beautiful nation. The memories forged during those 12 days remain etched in my heart, a testament to the incredible experiences that unfold when one chooses the path less traveled.
