Hey there! I'm Shanjeevan, originally from the beautiful island of Sri Lanka but currently living in Germany. I'm a huge scuba fan and one of the co-founders of OceanBiome, where I get to pour my passion into projects that not only entertain but also raise awareness about the incredible ocean world. I love combining adventure with purpose—whether it’s climbing Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe, or walking across Sri Lanka to promote peace. Right now, I'm studying for a B.Sc. in Global Environmental and Sustainability Studies at Leuphana University.

My mission goes beyond just protecting the ocean; I want to help people reconnect with nature and find a better balance with the environment. Through my travels and projects, I’m always looking for ways to make a positive impact and bring people closer to the natural world.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the defining moments of my journey was a 566 km walk across Sri Lanka, from the northernmost point all the way to the southern tip. Over just 12 days, I crossed diverse landscapes, connected with local communities, and felt the heartbeat of Sri Lanka up close. It was challenging and pushed my physical limits, but it also opened my eyes to the incredible cultural richness and resilience of this beautiful country. The memories from those 12 days are etched in my heart and are a reminder of the magic that unfolds when you take the road less traveled.
