I'm Shankar, I'm a visual artist who enjoys traveling to enrich my creative process through the places I see and the people I meet. Currently I am based in Edinburgh where I develop technology based art projects. In my spare time I enjoy learning to play the cello, practising judo, and cooking with friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the philosophy of couch surfing as it allows travelers to see a place from the perspective of its residents instead of being trapped in a tourist bubble! It is also a fantastic way to develop friendships with people that I would have otherwise not met!
