Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Intense longing to know the world...I would like to meet more people from around the world. I love to see more than what is presented to most tourists, and experience places I get to, fully.When I'm couchsurfing, I only hope for a friendly encounter (even if it's only brief), and a safe place to sleep & wash-up. Luxury items, like an actual bed, or cold beer are totally a bonus (and I always like to compensate for anything I consume +).
