ABOUT ME

Being raised and grew up in a multi-cultural country, I can speak a few languages, Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Malay.

I got my first Bachelor Degree from the United States. After the completion of the degree, I stayed on another year to work as shadow and assistant teacher. Then, I decided to go home because my dad was not in good health. During this period of time, I worked in Malaysia for a few years. In the meantime, I was trying to find my direction. I was lucky to have the opportunity to know about buddhism, meditation as well as learning tea art. I also started to find out more about my passion in natural health. I guess my dad's illness played a part on bringing out this part of me.

Finally, I made a decision to go for New Zealand working holiday visa two years ago at the age of 29. It has been a fruitful year for me to meet heaps of amazing people and encounter valuable lesson.

Then, I moved on to study Aromatherapy in Nelson, New Zealand. I learned different kind of massage techniques (Aromatherapy massage, Holistic massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage) with the use of therapeutic properties of essential oil to help people, with different conditions. I am a true believer on "prevention is better than cure". I am devoted to use natural treatment to promote well being.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about couch surfing from my friend who loves travelling.

I believe that my life experience has shaped me to enjoy interaction with people. I love to share my own culture and passion and in the same time interested to learn about other's culture.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I drove a 14 seated van when I worked in YWCA. People couldnt believe it as I am only a 4'8" lady.

I visited two of the seven wonders in the world:
1. Grand Canyon
2. Great Wall
