Hello! My name is Shannon and I'm a 23 yr old senior music student at San Diego State University. I was born in Atlanta and moved to California for school and more opportunities when I was 19. I'm an intern at Studio West, a major recording studio in San Diego, and I love creating all kinds of music. My goal when I graduate is to travel the world, move to LA and get a job as an audio engineer at a big studio, and keep making music.

I'm very spontaneous and open to meeting new people from all walks of life all around the world, and I think the best way to get to know a new area is from a local who knows it best. I'm looking for new connections and lifelong friends instead of a place to crash for a few days.

I love creating music and singing, surfing (yes!! even though I am from Atlanta I can surf and am even on the competitive team at my school), diving, snorkeling, hiking, riding horses, off roading, boating, and relaxing on the beach. I'm not a party animal but I enjoy a good IPA with friends. I also love live music concerts and music festivals of all different genres.

I love to share music with others, and can teach you a thing or 2 about music production and DJing if you're so inclined. I've taught surf and swim lessons to beginners and kids, too. I'm also a very skilled horseback rider and am always down for a ride.
