I grew up in a small mountain town in NC, but I have always been eager to meet new people and explore the world! I had a life changing experience when I studied abroad in Spain, and ever since then you could say I got bit by the wanderlust bug. I've since lived in Buenos Aires for 3 months and am always looking for the next place to explore...with my eyes currently set on a cross country road trip of the USA this summer!! As much as I love the big city, I also deeply value taking time to enjoy the magnificence, tranquility, and humbling effect of being surrounded by mountains, water, sky and stars.

兴趣

Anything sports - but especially tennis and basketball. I played varsity tennis in college and am a born and bred Blue Devils basketball fan! Also running, speaking Spanish, reading (especially good travel adventure books), watching Blacklist & Dexter, and trying to replicate amazing dishes that I have eaten abroad (proud to say I know how to make flan, alfajores, and croissants!!)

Book: Atrapa Tu Sueño (in English "Catch Your Dream") is maybe one of the most inspirational, fascinating stories I have ever read. It's the memoir of an Argentine couple that sets out to drive from Argentina to Alaska in 6 months and it ends up taking them 2 years. Spoiler: the couple left Argentina in 2000 and is still traveling today!!! They now have 4 kids (all born on the road) and have gone all over the world, always by car! Pretty cool stuff.....go read it!

Music: Eric Church, Kipp Moore, and Bruce Springsteen are some of my favorites, but generally I enjoy all genres of music

Movies: anything with Matt Damon or Denzel Washington
