About Me

I'm a very outgoing and enthusiastic character that thrives on social interaction.

Having just returned home from University, I am in the process of planning my 6 month journey across South East Asia, possibly visiting Australia in between - beginning in the new year 2017. In the mean time, a little research bought me to this site and i am intrigued to see what comes of it!

I would love to meet new and interesting people from across the world, as i honestly do not believe you can live on a planet you don't know enough about. This for me, means I need to dive into the culture that surrounds me and learn about the different ways people live and do things and who better to show me that the locals!

There is more to life than work and sleep, so much more. Life is a journey, and you only get out of it what you seek from it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned, I am due to go on an adventure of a life time, exploring all that South East Asia has to offer. I would love to get engrossed in the culture and nature of the countries that are within, not just view the 'tourist side'.

So naturally am looking to the people, the locals, for the best source of knowledge you can find! I have already read a lot of reviews on here and all of which sound amazing... I'd love to be able to share stories like that and become part of the couch surfing community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and Movies - broad range, I can end up liking anything with a good beat or story line. I often find myself fixed to a movie on the TV I was passing even though I may have already missed the first hour and had something to do or somewhere to be!

I don't really read... It sends me straight to sleep. Picture books are good though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked down Sugarloaf in Rio de Janeiro, stopping to see the monkeys emerge from the trees above on the way down!

What I Can Share with Hosts

English and Portuguese language, a welcoming and exuberant nature, endless hours of conversation and stories, someone to hang out with and show around; I want to learn about real life experience of living in the place you call home!

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, France, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
