I am Shannon and I am a solo traveler from Toronto Canada. I am on a journey of exploring and meeting new people over the next 8 months of my travel.

My passion include music, art, outdoors, fitness and GOODVIBES. I would love to meet people from around the whole and make life long connections. I am light hearted, positive and honest; I would like to meet like minded people :)

I have "planed" my travels loosely; I will start in Hawaii March- May, from there... I will keep you updated!

Music, Movies, and Books

My FAVOURITE band is and will always be NOFX, but I love all forms of music (other then new country). I run a local music community called Toronto Prog where our goal is to help share local talent and help them advertise.

Other than NOFX, I grew up on punk rock from there I transitioned into the different areas of metal, and now I lean towards Prog/ Stoner metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done so many amazing things but the one that stuck out in my mind was when I traveled to British Columbia to visit my sister who lives on a boat off Vancouver Island. I was totally out of my element, living off grid and peeing in a bucket!

It was really amazing and inspiring to see my sister who I would NEVER of thought to be an outdoors man, living with her cat and her amazing boyfriend out in the middle of a harbour! I stayed with them and it has inspired me to purchase a small sail boat and I will be spending a few months developing my sea legs.
