My 2014 mission is to relearn French!

ABOUT ME

I live for the warmer days of spring and summer, the best Michigan has to offer. Put me on a patio with good people, excellent music, and a few cocktails and I'll want for nothing. I hope to do more of that this summer, substituting my patio for another's, preferably outside of Michigan.

I'm a teacher - ESL for the last 12 years and a bit of French before that. I'll be taking on French again this year, hence my mission to regain fluency. The teacher part of me enjoys stability but my free spirit within keeps pushing me out of my comfort zone. Couch surfing is the result of one of those shoves!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by the mantra that nothing worth having comes easily. It's proven true up to this point.

I haven't hosted yet but look forward to it one of these days. I've only surfed twice so far but had an excellent experience.

Interests

Music, this is a big one. I also love gardening, cooking, reading, yoga, writing, learning, and of course traveling. I love interesting conversation over an IPA or glass of red. And sushi, I can't get enough.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did yoga on a mountain in Sedona, Arizona. It was truly amazing.
