About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet fellow travelers and hear about your adventures.
ABOUT ME
I am currently living in Portland, Oregon and would love to exchange stories & share a (few) drink(s) with fellow vagabonds! I have been working for an environmental engineering firm for the past few years. I specialize in site remediation as a project chemist (what a title, am I right? When’s the dinner party?).
My first Europe backpacking trip I was introduced to the great community of couch surfing. All the cities I have the most fond memories towards was due to the lovely locals I was able to meet, many using this platform. I still travel loads for work (most national travel in the US), I understand just wanting to have wholesome conversation with other curious folks with great stories. I’d love to host fellow travelers and return the hosting favor, as well as meet more souls on the road!
I graduated from university after studying Biochemistry and Philosophy. I am a happy person and I have had a great experience couch-surfing so far & I'd love to continue it!
P.S. The link to my best friend's couch surfing account is here (some reviews there are for the both of us since we traveled together for a few months):

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Ham on Rye, Timequake, Post Office, East of Eden, Things Fall Apart, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Series, Slaughterhouse-5, Tales of Ordinary Madness, I am legend. (I also studied philosophy so I enjoy reading Hume, Locke, Wittgenstein, Plato, and more)
Music: I like indie rock mainly. Modest Mouse, The Shins, Andrew Bird, Alex G, The Smiths, Blind Pilot, and more. But I'll listen to anything!
TV: I don't watch TV that often but I like Arrested Development, the Office, and 30 Rock. Mainly comedy shows. Or satirical news--John Oliver, The Daily Show
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Europe I studied in Italy for two months, and worked on an organic vineyard in France for harvest. It was an amazing experience! I got to press the grapes with my feet--you could be drinking a Shan's sweaty feet vintage!
Teach, Learn, Share
